Once completed there will be a 3/4 mile nature walk that will boarder the farm.  As you follow the paths you will see native wild flowers and grasses, spring fed brooks, and wildlife of all types.  Our miniature horses, potbelly pigs and unique poultry add a touch of fun for the kids.  We will update this web site as progress is made so stop back when you have time.  This will be a labor of love for the rest of our lives.

Red Roc Knoll is a family project that we started a few years ago with the goal of creating a profitable small Iowa farm.  It all started with our love of country living, raising animals and farming the old fashioned way.

 

In addition to the Bed & Breakfast we are starting a Produce Farm where we will grow many varieties of farm fresh fruits and vegetables.  There will be an on site stand for direct sales and we will deliver to the area restaurants.

 

As a compliment to the produce we will raise top quality Duroc pigs available to sale and delivered to the area locker of your choice.  Our pigs will be raised on open pasture runs where they can enjoy just being a pig.  We do not believe in growth hormones or other unneeded medications.  Just top quality food, fresh air and TLC do just fine.
